With LCL shipping, you are only required to pay for the space in a container you need. For smaller businesses shipping in lower quantities, this is a highly cost-effective solution. This can be useful if you don’t have enough stock to fill a full container and allows you to manage your storage costs by importing an efficient amount of stock.
LCL also means you can have the goods delivered on a smaller vehicle such as a 7.5ton if the size of your shipment allows. Additionally we can have a tail-lift added at an additional quoted cost. This cannot be added to an FCL delivery and it is your responsibility to get the goods out of the container.

Flexibility With Shipment Sizes
No matter the size of your shipment, we have the tools and the capacity to help. We will even offer advice to guide you toward the most cost-effective solution. If we don’t think LCL shipping is the right fit, we will let you know!
With LCL shipping, there is more flexibility with the volume of your shipment. For FCL, the volume must be exact, otherwise this can lead to fines and penalties. However, with LCL shipping, there is more leeway. As long as volumes are thereabouts what has been stated, then it can be slightly over or under.
